Elementary Students in Cilandak Trained to Handle Fire

For about 175 students in Cilandak Barat 15 Elementary School joined fire handling training, Wednesday (2/1). Students were taught in theory and practical to prevent and handle fire.

Cilandak Urban Village Fire Handling and Rescue Sector Head, Slamet, said that the training was a part to prevent fire incident.

"In this training, we give theory and practical material. We explaining about fire's danger and impact. We also give basic training to handle fire," he said.

Fire Rescue Simulation Held at City Hall

Angga (11), one of the students, admitted that he panicked when he got a chance to extinguish fire using fire extinguisher (APAR). When he assisted by personnel, he was brave enough to extinguish fire in the barrel.

"Firstly, I am afraid because it was a huge fire. But, after I assisted by personnel, I become brave to spray the fire extinguisher to the fire," he closed.
